Service Projects

Some of our Club projects are:

• Eye exams and eye glasses to those in need in Clare County.
• Hearing exams and help with hearing aids to those in need in Clare County.
• Scholarship for a Harrison high school senior.
• We also hold crutches, walkers, toilet chairs, etc. that community members may borrow when needed.

 
Some of our community improvement projects are:

• Adopt-A-Highway cleanup a two-mile section of a local highway.
• Donate the use of our building to Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and 4H for part of their meetings. 
• Donate the use of our building to the county Parks and Recreation department and donate to the treats for the local Halloween party.
• Donate the use of our building for the “get the children ready for back to school".  

Charitable Donations

Some of our charitable donations are:

• Vision and Hearing tests and glasses and hearing aids for low income persons.
• Peace Poster Contest
• Scholarship
• Special Olympics
• Harrison Little League
• Clare County Parks and Recreation
• Project Christmas
• Love Light Tree
• Baskets for Veterans and Senior Citizens at Holiday time.
• Clare County Veterans Freedom Park

 
And State and District Lion Projects:

• Leader Dogs for the Blind
• Eversight (Michigan Eye Bank)
• Lions Bear Lake Camp (camp for the blind and deaf)
• Project Kids Sight (photos of children’s eyes)
• Lions All State Band
• White Cane Safety
• Paws with a Cause

We also donate when possible to other deserving projects.
